I have a 2004 ES330 behind a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but with I go going on for turns on onto highway ramps, when I hurt the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds since reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon similar to the same engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights face on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively other battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried consequently far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for associates in the intake. in the manner of I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems fine except that the TPS stays constant going on for 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model for that reason it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I recognize the TPS is integrated when the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you want the mechanic to know back I be close to you? No, I guess that is it.
Thanks for your response. I just checked what you mentioned, that I hadn't already checked, except fuel pressure.Let me say you a little more practically the burden history. It currently has a master tech ascribed idle ventilate rule valve and tps installed. without upsetting anything, the last (used) ecu and my original, would rule in the car without this symptom.
later than I begin the car, the engine surges up in the middle of 1200 and 2000 rpm urge on and forth. I distorted the IAC and the TPS bearing in mind no fiddle with in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this same issue. Prior to this I would have to adapt the idle promptness screw to humiliate the rpm and it would hold for a while. Now, the engine is for all time surging to the tapering off where I cannot steer it for agitation of broken to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
