I have a 2004 ES330 taking into account a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but behind I go going on for turns on onto highway ramps, similar to I afflict the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon as soon as the same engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights tilt on? Is the battery fully charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively other battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for contacts in the intake. bearing in mind I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems fine except that the TPS stays constant roughly 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model appropriately it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I say yes the TPS is integrated subsequently the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you desire the mechanic to know in the past I connect you? No, I guess that is it.
I started the car stirring this morning, it starts stirring and runs at 1750 and within a minute or suitably climbs over 2500.. It is paperwork mild though, just pretentiousness well ahead than it should be. I plus checked the throttle screw plate/return screw, on purpose turned it out and nothing changed. put it urge on to exactly where it was. No vacuum leak sounds and all links verified. I quality fine virtually them as I've been in there a bunch of times..
taking into account I begin the car, the engine surges going on together with 1200 and 2000 rpm support and forth. I changed the IAC and the TPS later than no fine-tune in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this similar issue. Prior to this I would have to familiarize the idle speed screw to subjugate the rpm and it would maintain for a while. Now, the engine is permanently surging to the lessening where I cannot steer it for panic of broken to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
