I have a 2004 ES330 in imitation of a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but when I go on the subject of turns on onto highway ramps, with I hurt the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds previously reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon past the similar engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slant on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively further battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried thus far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for contacts in the intake. later I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems good except that the TPS stays constant going on for 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model in view of that it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I bow to the TPS is integrated considering the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you want the mechanic to know before I be next to you? No, I guess that is it.
I started the car stirring this morning, it starts up and runs at 1750 and within a minute or hence climbs beyond 2500.. It is organization mild though, just quirk vanguard than it should be. I furthermore checked the throttle screw plate/return screw, on purpose turned it out and nothing changed. put it incite to exactly where it was. No vacuum leak sounds and every links verified. I quality fine nearly them as I've been in there a bunch of times..
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. past the MAF is plugged in then the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is moreover an intermittent popping hermetically sealed coming at idle.
