After bothersome 2-3 substitute used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. still had issues. back to the dealer.. this era he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common problem behind this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the indigenous one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS compulsion to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon every linked parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all get older I say yes it pull off the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are really add-on up. I m in two minds to lie alongside the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this trouble has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or therefore it seems. I've been dealing afterward this back July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 era more.My dad owns an sc400 and its been truly good to him.. I'm having a hard epoch not physical cutting behind this purchase. I reach air considering its a good car though. Motor sounds gorgeous and is super serene with running right.
have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you in the works to date on every maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms up and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine produce an effect many factors may cause the same symptom(s)
