This could be an airleak after the airflow meter, any air dragged in here isn t seen by the ECU and so not compensated for and can thin the engine out and can as well as permit the engine to rev going on in imitation of not desired causing harsh running. As its a mechanical oddity it tends not to viewpoint on the irregularity open and you can sometimes hear a hissing noise behind the engine running.

I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. subsequent to the MAF is plugged in later the car will stall unless I put my foot on the accelerator. There is as well as an intermittent popping sound coming at idle.
