I have a 2004 ES330 later than a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but later than I go in the region of turns on onto highway ramps, gone I pain the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds back reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon next the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights position on? Is the battery adequately charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively supplementary battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried hence far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for associates in the intake. in imitation of I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems good except that the TPS stays constant around 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model correspondingly it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I give a positive response the TPS is integrated later than the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you want the mechanic to know back I connect you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the freshen flow meter and said it was good. as soon as I unplug it and direct the motor, the car runs coarse and at 850ish. I can on your own guess that my new rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or anyhow my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much direct in the every other of rpm though? I think it unaccompanied adjusts it approximately 1k..
have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you going on to date on every maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms in the works and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine doing many factors may cause the similar symptom(s)
