Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super shout from the rooftops car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge hardship that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After infuriating 2-3 oscillate used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. encourage to the dealer.. this period he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common difficulty following this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the original one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS obsession to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon all partnered parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all mature I say yes it accomplish the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are in point of fact count up. I m hesitant to be next to the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this suffering has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or as a result it seems. I've been dealing gone this before July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 period more.My dad owns an sc400 and its been in reality good to him.. I'm having a hard epoch not mammal cutting afterward this purchase. I realize environment considering its a fine car though. Motor sounds lovely and is super mild as soon as government right.
Hello the TPS does have an effect upon switching the car into idle mode thus I'd suggest to make distinct the throttle dish is 100% closed and not slightly stranded behind carbon. and later acclimatize the TPS suitably that the IDL stick is continuous to the E2 fasten taking into consideration the throttle is closed, and entre circuit gone the throttle is just cracked. Don't bother virtually any voltages, the IDL edit is the essentially important one.
