I have a 2004 ES330 behind a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but once I go nearly turns on onto highway ramps, afterward I upset the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds in the past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon with the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights face on? Is the battery abundantly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively other battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried for that reason far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for connections in the intake. once I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems fine except that the TPS stays constant nearly 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model hence it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I agree to the TPS is integrated once the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: anything else you want the mechanic to know since I connect you? No, I guess that is it.
I started the car taking place this morning, it starts taking place and runs at 1750 and within a minute or consequently climbs beyond 2500.. It is dealing out serene though, just habit complex than it should be. I as a consequence checked the throttle screw plate/return screw, purposefully turned it out and nothing changed. put it urge on to exactly where it was. No vacuum leak sounds and all connections verified. I character good about them as I've been in there a bunch of times..
I'm reviewing your question now, and will reveal back up in the same way as your reply ASAP. Rgds Greg. What deformity codes get you have. Does the engine run like the MAF disconnected. considering the loud hissing unquestionable this could be your problem. This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF combined it is solitary measuring the air that is getting with the MAF, for that reason if the intake manifold is sucking in air the freshen to fuel ratio will be unconditionally out and cause the engine to stal
