I have a 2004 ES330 considering a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but considering I go all but turns upon onto highway ramps, when I sadden the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds back reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon in the same way as the similar engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slope on? Is the battery fully charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively additional battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried suitably far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for friends in the intake. as soon as I put my Turbo OBDII app on, everything seems good except that the TPS stays constant more or less 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model correspondingly it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I tolerate the TPS is integrated taking into consideration the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you desire the mechanic to know past I be next to you? No, I guess that is it.
Thanks for your response. I just checked what you mentioned, that I hadn't already checked, except fuel pressure.Let me say you a little more roughly the misery history. It currently has a master tech ascribed idle let breathe direct valve and tps installed. without upsetting anything, the last (used) ecu and my original, would manage in the car without this symptom.
taking into consideration I begin the car, the engine surges up in the midst of 1200 and 2000 rpm help and forth. I misrepresented the IAC and the TPS in the manner of no bend in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this same issue. Prior to this I would have to acclimatize the idle rapidity screw to lower the rpm and it would withhold for a while. Now, the engine is forever surging to the reduction where I cannot drive it for panic of damage to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
