I have a 2004 ES330 in the same way as a hestitation problem. It is good from a full stop but considering I go approaching turns upon onto highway ramps, bearing in mind I sadden the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds previously reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon behind the similar engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights face on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively supplementary battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried appropriately far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for connections in the intake. subsequently I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems good except that the TPS stays constant in relation to 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model consequently it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I agree to the TPS is integrated bearing in mind the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: anything else you desire the mechanic to know past I be close to you? No, I guess that is it.
I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started shortly after I got it home.Any other encourage you can come up with the money for is appreciated. I don't know what else to do but tolerate it support to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman committed on it at the dealer, but I yet mood its pushed to the back as its pass and everyone loses in this situation.
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. once the MAF is plugged in subsequently the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is also an intermittent popping hermetically sealed coming at idle.
