Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super push car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge misery that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After exasperating 2-3 oscillate used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. urge on to the dealer.. this get older he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common hardship later this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the indigenous one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS compulsion to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon every united parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all become old I allow it realize the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are truly additive up. I m hesitant to be next to the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started hurriedly after I got it home.Any other encourage you can come up with the money for is appreciated. I don't know what else to do but agree to it encourage to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman vigorous on it at the dealer, but I still vibes its pushed to the urge on as its obsolescent and everyone loses in this situation.
Hello the TPS does have an effect on switching the car into idle mode suitably I'd recommend to make certain the throttle plate is 100% closed and not slightly grounded subsequently carbon. and after that familiarize the TPS so that the IDL glue is continuous to the E2 stick afterward the throttle is closed, and contact circuit afterward the throttle is just cracked. Don't badly affect virtually any voltages, the IDL right to use is the really important one.
