I have a 2004 ES330 taking into account a hestitation problem. It is good from a full stop but bearing in mind I go just about turns on onto highway ramps, considering I upset the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon following the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slant on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively supplementary battery. I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started immediately after I got it home.Any supplementary help you can have the funds for is appreciated. I don't know what else to pull off but agree to it put up to to the dealer. have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you occurring to date on every maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms up and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine sham many factors may cause the same symptom(s)
