I have a 2004 ES330 subsequently a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but subsequently I go more or less turns on onto highway ramps, when I sadden the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds back reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon subsequent to the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights turn on? Is the battery thoroughly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively other battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried for that reason far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for connections in the intake. bearing in mind I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems fine except that the TPS stays constant not far off from 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model thus it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I take on the TPS is integrated subsequent to the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you desire the mechanic to know previously I attach you? No, I guess that is it.
I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started sharply after I got it home.Any additional back up you can provide is appreciated. I don't know what else to reach but give a positive response it encourage to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman keen upon it at the dealer, but I still feel its pushed to the support as its pass and everyone loses in this situation.
Hello the TPS does have an effect on switching the car into idle mode thus I'd recommend to create positive the throttle plate is 100% closed and not slightly stuck behind carbon. and after that become accustomed the TPS therefore that the IDL stick is continuous to the E2 stick later the throttle is closed, and log on circuit as soon as the throttle is just cracked. Don't distress practically any voltages, the IDL get into is the in point of fact important one.
